The comprehensive nature of the book is designed to appeal to distinguished clinicians and scholars of dental traumatology, whether they be oral surgeons, pediatric dentists, endodontists, or from a related specialist community.
Long considered the “gold standard” book on the subject, the fourth edition builds on this reputation and presents the definitive standards in the field. The role of established clinical therapies has been vigorously updated. New chapters have been added to reflect esthetic procedures including bleaching of discolored teeth, and the use of minimally invasive veneers. Other topics new for consideration in this volume include: the optimization of pulp and periodontal healing, splinting of teeth, and the use of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) in endodontic interventions.
