A truthful look into Johnny Footballs college career

I can easily see where Aggies and non aggies would enjoy this as its extremely detailed and discloses a lot of information 99% of the public didnt know about Johnnys off field antics (writer did some really good homework) It was fun to relive all those games, even the heartbreaking ones.

This could have turned into a book of box scores, numbers, and stats but instead I found it to be well written and read like a story. The author did a great job keeping me engaged with little known but very interesting and relevant facts and tid bits of information. Although, I followed the season closely and knew the outcomes, I still found myself on edge, wanting to keep reading. Excellent piece of work!

Alex Mintz is Dean of the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy at IDC-Herzliya, Israel. He is editor of the journal Political Psychology, former co-editor of Foreign Policy Analysis and associate editor of the Journal of Conflict Resolution. Mintz was the 2005 recipient of the Distinguished Scholar Award for distinguished contribution to the field from the Foreign Policy Analysis section of the International Studies Association (ISA). He has published, edited, or co-edited nine books and is the author of multiple journal articles.

Karl DeRouen, Jr, is Professor of Political Science, Director of the International Studies Program, and a College of Arts and Science Faculty Fellow (2008-11) at the University of Alabama. Great Sleep-Aid

Honestly, right off the bat I never made it through the entire thing. Be warned, that the language in the book is very dense. I'm a political science major in my 4th year with a strong interest in foreign relations and even I found this tough to get through. I gave it 3 stars because while I'm sure the book does have some very good and interesting insights, the highly technical language makes it a very unfriendly read.

Franklin CampbellJones is associate professor of education leadership at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey. He completed�six years as a tenured faculty member of education leadership at California State University, Los Angeles. He is a national and international facilitator of organization learning and diversity. His 30-year service in education includes tenure as a high school social science teacher, school administrator, and project director for the State of California.

Brenda CampbellJones, Ph.D, CEO She provides professional development, and technical assistance to school districts throughout the United States. Dr. CampbellJones gives keynote address internationally and nationally on culturally responsiveness in diverse communities. Dr. CampbellJones is published in scholarly and professional journals. She has served as principal of an award winning middle school, teacher, state and national staff development facilitator.

Randall B. Lindsey is emeritus professor at California State University, Los Angeles and has a practice centered on educational consulting and issues related to equity and access. Prior to higher education faculty roles, he served as a junior and senior high school history teacher, a district office administrator for school desegregation, and executive director of a non-profit corporation. All of his experiences have been in working with diverse populations and his area of study is the behavior of white people in multicultural settings. It is his belief and experience that too often white people are observers of multicultural issues rather than personally involved with them. Progressive propaganda indoctrinating American students

This is a brazen piece of progressive/communist/socialist propaganda that has infiltrated into too many American school curriculums. Every single parent in America should examine this book closely and be prepared to fight the school board to remove this piece of garbage. You'd be much better off reading "Witness" by Whittaker Chambers to your kids at night.

This book is nothing more than political propaganda. This type of thinking is dangerous and will end up causing a race war if nothing else. Also parents be aware schools in Omaha have made this crap required reading.

The Cultural Proficiency Journey

This book is nothing more than a progressive's journey to power. Its socialistic dribble espousing redistribution of wealth from "whites" to everybody else is disguised by the author's attempt to raise cultural awareness among teachers. Teachers have had cultural competency training for the better part of 20 years and ethnic sensitivity training as far back as the early 70's when Affirmative Action was implemented. This book is a politicized piece of indoctrination and propaganda that does not belong in any school district. Shouldn't we be using tax dollars to train teachers in academic proficiency?? Wouldn't those dollars be better spent to educate our youth to be proficient in math, reading, history and other core subjects. Shame on the progressive authors of this piece of crap. Don't buy this book. And if your school district does, get yourself out to the school board meetings pronto!!

About the Author

Michel Michaud, a certified mechanical engineer, has been involved in CAD since 1989. He teaches CATIA at Ecole National D’aerotechnique du college Edouard-Montpetit in the Aircraft Manufacturing Department and also at Concordia University in the Continuous Education Department. Michaud’s industrial experience includes IBM Canada, Pratt & Whitney Canada and Bombarier Aerospace.

CATIA Core Tools: Computer Aided Three-Dimensional Interactive Application

As a new user of CATIA I have been looking for a book that wasn't just a bunch of tutorials. I wanted a book that told me how to use the program and the basis for the commands and command structure. It turns out that this is the book. Based upon my experience you can use this book to learn how to draw without all of the tutorials that are out there in so many other books. In addition, this book includes a history of the development of the software giving a much better view of the markets it serves and can serve. Some of the more advanced applications, such as manufacturing design, are not covered in this book but for the vast majority of users I think this is the kind of book you could use.
I got the Kindle version but I probably should have gotten the print version. Some of the figures in the Kindle version are not very clear and if you change (increase) the text size the figures do not get larger.

Good reference for necessary functions in CATIA

As the title indicates, this book explains most frequently used functions and interface in CATIA. If you are using CATIA and need an immediate reference book, this book may be a good place for look-up.

Sadly, book does not provide any tutorial or practice, which was my original intention of purchase. However, in a long run, this book may be more valuable than any other CATIA practice book out there.

Probably not clear enough in the preface, but if you go to the McGraw-Hill Professional book website you will find some tutorials and other stuff that you may find useful.
